On average, a small bird, such as a barn owl, costs us £10 per week to feed, £1500 per year to house, and about £50-100 per year on veterinary care. Large birds, such as eagles, cost several times these amounts.
With the current Covid-19 situation preventing us from raising funds in our normal fashion, and a total lack of support from HM Government, we desperately need more sponsors.
In an attempt to tap in to the generosity of our public, we have started a scheme whereby yu can sponsor one (or more!) of cour birds. With everyone’s income adversely affected, we have set our adoption/sponsorship levels to ensure that they are within everyone’s reach.
